     Family Self-Sufficiency - Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) is a voluntary program that helps low-income families obtain the education, job training, and life skills necessary to move toward financial self-sufficiency.  This program helps households learn to take control of their lives and achieve complete economic independence from all welfare programs within five years.  The FSS Program does not affect housing subsidy.

     Resident Opportunities & Self-Sufficiency (Seniors) - It is our goal at the Truth or Consequences Housing Authority, through the ROSS program to assist our Senior/Disabled residents to live independent, self-sufficient, and productive lives by providing supportive services.

 Resident Opportunities & Self-Sufficiency (Homeownership) - It is our goal at the Truth or Consequences Housing Authority, through the ROSS program to assist our residents to live independent, self-sufficient, and productive lives by providing supportive services related to homeownership.

     Individual Development Account - Individual Development Account (IDA) program is a voluntary program where the government matches every dollar you save with 3 dollars for specific purposes such as education, purchasing a home or starting a small business.

     Home Program - A limited number of houses which are purchased and rehabilitated by the Housing Authority then resold to moderate or low income families who qualify for a home mortgage.
