Vista Montaño offers fifty-four 1-bedroom and two 2-bedroom unfurnished Section 8 project based apartments. ADA accessible units are also available.
All units have gas ranges, refrigerators and refrigerated air conditioning.
The complex is nicely landscaped with trees, shrubs and grass. A full-time maintenance staff takes care of the apartments and grounds maintaining a high standard of excellence.
There are laundry facilities, a soda machine and a community center on the premises.
Villa Montaño is located within the Socorro City Limits, between Interstate 25 and Route 60. There are many amenities nearby; restaurants, banks, grocery stores, movie theaters, hair salons, pharmacies, and a post office are all less than a mile away.

Applications must be completely filled out, signed and submitted with copies of all household members’ Birth Certificates, Social Security cards, marriage license or divorce papers and proof of any and all income. Social Security recipients must provide copy of award letter. Any preferences claimed on the application must also have copies of documents verifying the same. Submitting a completed application and all supplemental information places you on the waiting list.
