It is our goal at the Truth or Consequences Housing Authority, through the ROSS program to assist our residents to live independent, self-sufficient, and productive lives.   This grant is intended to assist public housing residents and housing choice voucher recipients to attain homeownership in conjunction with the Individual Development Account (IDA) program.  The program will provide counseling and training related to personal finances, money management, credit practices, employment and purchasing a home.   The grant has been approved by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and implementation is expected in the near future.   Get a head start and sign up for IDA classes by contacting the IDA Coordinator at 894-9479.
