Rita Johnston has been working for the Truth or Consequences Housing Authority as the Housing Manager since November 2000.  

She is responsible for providing assistance to lower income families, seniors and persons with disabilities in obtaining decent, safe and affordable dwellings, such as Vista del Cerro, Villa de Sol, Puesta de Sol and Hacienda Orgullo apartments.
